Sarah Borzo Recipient of the Excellence in Science Teaching Award

South Middle School School Science Teacher, Sarah Borzo, was selected to be the 2020 Iowa Academy of Science (IAS) recipient of the Excellence in Science Teaching Award (ESTA) for Middle School Science. This award recognizes outstanding teachers of all grade levels for their work and innovations in science education. Borzo will be presented with her ESTA at the Iowa Science Teachers’ Fall Conference, October 5 in Ankeny. The mission of the Iowa Academy of Science is to further scientific research, science education, public understanding of science, and recognize excellence in these endeavors.
